[Non joke part of the description] And as the year comes to a close I managed to squeeze this meant-for-halloween project by its very end, oh well. For those who may know, I did the same kind of music video with NumberOneJenny's Tombstone Arizona track for DMCA Tower years ago and titled it a ''YTPMV''. I decided to not do that again for this one since I figured its less to actually be a youtube poop as it doesn't reflect the sound effects played as the medium portrays, rather I just created something resembling the visual style that evokes the same nostalgia more or less. I think this is a big step up from my previous big, edited MV project (tho meatgrinder killazona still holds up imo) in terms of actually interesting ideas brought forth to give [REDACTED]'s creepy, dreadful but most of all chaotic vibe as you face it first time head-on. I wanted to capture the very best in the composition of each section, to truly elevate how killer this soundtrack is to where it deserves.
The level of care and attention that was afforded to his theme in this mod is more than exceptional. I love everything from the vocals matching the tone whether its of urgency or mental decay, the mixing to emphasize already placed tempo shifts in the original music, to the bitcrushed quality that brings together this idea you're fighting a manifestation of nightmares, a collective hivemind of demented matter seeking to absorb more into its facetious mouth; It is unfathomably amazing and stands as one of my favorite tracks of the entire Piss Towel OST.
To the video- Some bits are messy at times, but I've held back on a lot of ideas to keep things from being too cluttered and becoming a blurry face-fucking mess. All in all, I expect this to be some people's favorite, whereas some might not appreciate it fully, and both I am okay with.
I'm glad 2025 is over, yet the question remains: where will 2026 bring us? For me, there is much a mix of opportunities I would hope to harbor, as well as challenges and uncertainties, uncertainties that, no matter how long you try to build the courage to face it, it just hits you with such reverence and unpredictability. This primal instinct of fear. Fear of judgement, of failure, of regret, is something I would believe feeds an eldritch creature of unknown origins, that is able to rearrange its flesh and organs with such plasticity while a cacophany of singing voices accompany its pursuit for blood- beyond our reality.
Either way, it will be a big turning point for me either way, and the path, however unclear, shall be ventured with a spear of resilience and lamp of earnestness that will never fade.
