We hiked and wild camped for 4 days in the Grootwintershoek mountains. It’s situated about 2.5h north of Cape Town.
The rock formations are incredible, as well as the scenery. There’s limited to no accommodation up there, so its not frequently visited, making it a great get away.
There’s relics from the Khoisan bushmen all over the place, as well as remnants from the first settlers.
It’s a place where you go back in time.
