ඉංග්රීසි භාෂාවේ “the” භාවිතය හා සම්බන්ධ නීති උදාහරණ සමඟ සාකච්ඡා කිරීම මෙම වීඩියෝවේ ප්රධාන අරමුණයි. මුල් මිනිත්තු කිහිපයෙහිදී ඔබට Articles (a / an, the) පිළිබඳ මූලික අවබෝධයක් ලබා දෙන අතර දෙවනුව නීති දෙස අවධානය යොමු කෙරේ.
The Definite Article in English is used to talk about specific things whereas the two indefinite articles are used to talk about things in general.
The two indefinite articles are used only with the singular nouns whereas the definite article ‘the’ can be used with both singular and plural nouns.
The difference in usage has to be explored with reference to countable nouns and uncountable nouns too. The differences are explained using examples in this video.
