Mie is considered the Soul of Japan. It's one of the last few prefectures in Japan that I haven't been too so I was really excited. This time I am also excited because my friends who are visiting in Japan will join me in this trip. It's relaxing to try alone but it's also nice to travel with friends.

So, I finally checked my bucket list to try the overnight bus in Japan. It's really not bad especially for someone like me who could sleep anywhere (LOL).
I will personally not do it again but definitely a reasonable option especially if you can't drive in Japan or if you're looking for a cheaper option than the Shinkansen.

2. Mikimoto Pearl Island
I really loved the the Ama Divers Exhibition (the women diving for pearls- traditional style of harvesting pearls)

3. Catch the suset at Meoto Iwa. Meoto Iwa (夫婦岩, "Wedded Rocks") is a natural rock formation in Ise Bay, Mie Prefecture, Japan. The two rocks are joined by a small bridge and are considered a symbol of eternal love.

4. Ise Shrine passing through the Okage Yokocho. Ise Grand Shrine, one of the most important Shinto shrines in Japan. The shrine is dedicated to the sun goddess Amaterasu, and is said to be the oldest continuously operating religious site in the world.

5. Eat at Misuzu Gyoza -A hidden gem in Ise. This small, family-run restaurant serves some of the best gyoza in the city.

6. Enjoy the Cherry Blossom at this Top 100 spot to see Cherry Blossoms in Japan. It’s called Miyagawa Tsutsumi Park: This park is located along the Miya River, just a short walk from the Ise Grand Shrine. It is home to over 600 cherry trees, which bloom in late March to early April.
