The other accused arrested are Chetanbhai Kanubhai Vavadia, owner of Rudra Enterprises, and Phudi Damjibhai Padmani, owner of Jani Pharma. Investigation has revealed that the three accused were involved in criminal activities in collaboration with members of narco cartels in Malaysia and Thailand. Etomidate API was mislabeled as samples of Aloe Vera Powder, Ginopol-24 and Carbomore. It was exported from Mumbai airport by making false documents and misdeclaring at customs. These drugs were reaching Malaysia and Thailand, which also included members of narco cartels. It has been revealed that other narco cartels from Malaysia and Thailand were also involved in this crime.
