What happens when professing Christians join a Buddhist “Walk for Peace”?

Is Buddhism simply another harmless path to peace or does it fundamentally contradict the gospel of Jesus Christ?

In this video (and more to come), we attend the Buddhist Monk Walk for "Peace” to lovingly but boldly expose the false hope of Buddhism and call professing Christians back to the truth of Scripture. We engage in real conversations, challenge religious syncretism, and proclaim the exclusive saving gospel of Jesus Christ.

Buddhism offers self-effort, enlightenment through works, and false inner peace apart from God, but the Bible declares that true peace comes only through reconciliation with God by grace through faith in Jesus Christ.

This outreach confronts:
Why Christians should not join interfaith or pagan religious events
The difference between worldly peace and biblical peace
Buddhism’s denial of a personal, holy God
The danger of religious compromise and spiritual deception
Why Jesus alone is “the way, the truth, and the life” (John 14:6)

Because of Jesus Christ, our heart is not hatred, but love for souls and faithfulness to Christ. We warn, reason from Scripture, and share the gospel so that people may turn from deception and trust in Jesus Christ.
