If you’re dealing with a P0234 - Turbocharger Overboost Condition on your 2013 Ford Escape 2.0L, this video will guide you on where to start fixing the issue.
I recommend starting with the Turbo Boost Solenoid, as it’s the easiest to replace. On this 2.0 model, there’s also a Wastegate Solenoid located on the turbo behind the engine, but it’s harder to access. Both the Turbo Boost and Wastegate Solenoids are similar but have different part numbers — the rear Wastegate Solenoid comes with hoses.
