This 80's Panasonic RX-5050 has great sound. When I found it, cassette deck player had some problem and stains on the body as well as clear plastic lens. I decided to transform this one into Halloween Boo Box. Not Boom but Boo!
I cleaned the body inside out, fixed cassette deck, and added Bluetooth receiver. Also, I added a rainbow LED light behind the skull face to illuminate the eyes and mouth.
For the best sound for the bluetooth receiver, I installed groundloop noise isolator. The sound was much better than without it.
It was fun modifying old school boom box into scary boo box. Enjoy the video.
Note: Misspelled word "Spookey" should be "Spooky" :-)
