How to Judge Speech Contests (Updated December 2024)

Описание: Every Toastmasters contest ends with a presentation of awards to the winners. Who chooses these winners? A team of Voting Judges works with a Chief Judge to rank the contestants and ensure a fair experience for all. Every successful contest hinges on this team of critical functionaries to work efficiently and effectively.

Contest Season is right around the corner; is your Judging Team trained and ready? If you're unfamiliar with Judge and/or Chief Judge protocol, prerequisites and best practices, don't feel intimidated! At this session, you'll learn how to apply classic Toastmasters evaluation, communication, and leadership skills to excel at these roles in a contest setting. Recommended for potential Contest Judges, Chief Judges, Contest Chairs, VPEs, and anyone else who wants to know more about judging contests. Judge not... unless you know what you're doing!
