Описание: I thought there was something very different from the Scarborough of my 1960s and 1970s childhood. The event arena maybe modern but its now soulless. The Lido has gone. North Bay promenade looks nothing like I remember. Lovely flowered gardens have gone as you walk to North Bay. Scalby Mills and the train ride look very different. No cliff lift anymore. Corner cafe gone and replaced by awful high rise flats. Just do a picture search for North Bay asking for 1950s, 1960s and 1970s pictures.
