Volvo Caliper Cross Drilling

The Volvo 240 four piston calipers have long been a common upgrade to a lot of different vehicles. They started with the non-vented rotor versions, then switched to the vented, then to the ABS version(which does not require this mod). This video may be a bit too late in the game since nearly all the versions of calipers are getting scarce. I primarily did this for those that buy my Altima brake upgrade for the Datsun 311 roadsters. I will "loan" the drilling jig to them. I'd consider making more of the jigs to sell outright, but I've never had enough interest from others to actually do it. If you have a mill or a good drill press with a vice that will hold the caliper, you can do this drilling without the jig. It can be done with a hand drill, but it's pretty challenging. It's a long winded video, but it covers everything from splitting the halves open, pulling the seals and pistons, drilling and then torqueing the halves back together.
