Ramadan is almost here 🌙 and this is my annual Ramadan meal prep video — a routine I come back to every year because it saves SO much time and stress during the month.
In this video, I’m doing from-scratch freezer meal prep including:
Curry base sauce (batch cooked & frozen)
Garlic, ginger & chilli freezer cubes
Homemade keema & potato samosas
Chicken spring rolls
Kebabs
Pizza dough (perfect for quick iftars!)
This prep helps me focus on worship, family time, and calmer evenings during Ramadan — without worrying about cooking every single day.

🥘 Curry Sauce
2 cups sunflower oil
20 onions
30 tomatoes
10 tablespoons garam masala
10 tablespoons ground coriander
10 tablespoons ground cumin
5 tablespoons ground turmeric
5 teaspoons chilli powder
5 tablespoons salt
10 garlic & ginger cubes (10 tablespoons)
🧄 Garlic, Ginger & Chilli Cubes
8 garlic cloves
250 g ginger
12 finger chillies
🥟 Samosa Filling
2 kg lamb mince
4 tablespoons garlic & ginger cubes
6 red onions, finely diced
1.5 kg potatoes
½ cup sunflower oil
2 bay leaves
1 tablespoon cumin seeds
1 tablespoon coriander seeds
1 tablespoon salt
2 tablespoons ground cumin
1 tablespoon garam masala
1 tablespoon ground coriander
1 teaspoon ground turmeric
1 teaspoon red chilli powder
3 tablespoons tomato purée
2 tablespoons lemon juice
6 tablespoons tamarind sauce
🥟 Samosa Dough
12 cups plain flour
1 cup sunflower oil
3 cups water (or as needed)
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon coarse black pepper
🌯 Spring Rolls
1.2 kg chicken breast
1 tablespoon sunflower oil
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon paprika
1 teaspoon red chilli flakes
1 teaspoon onion granules
1 tablespoon garlic & ginger cube
350 g grated carrots
350 g celery
85 g spring onions
150 g baby button mushrooms
2 tablespoons tomato purée
1 tablespoon soy sauce
150 g sweetcorn
🍢 Kebabs
1 kg lamb mince
2 onions
2 tomatoes
4 tablespoons garlic & ginger paste
2 eggs
1 cup gram flour
Juice of 1 lemon
1 tablespoon salt
1 tablespoon red chilli flakes
1 tablespoon garam masala
2 tablespoons ground cumin
2 tablespoons pomegranate seeds
🍕 Pizza Dough
7 g easy-bake yeast or active dried yeast
1 tablespoon sugar
1⅓ cups lukewarm water
3.5 cups plain flour
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons oil
