Garissa Governor, Nathif Jama urged security apparatus in the region to be on the lookout for politicians issuing inciting remarks. Nathif Jama who was speaking at the farmers training college after officially handing over a school bus to Dertu Secondary School said that it was unfortunate to see security apparatus attend meetings presided over by politicians and listen as they incite communities against each other without doing anything.
Jama scoffed at majority leader in the national assembly, Aden Duale saying that he was “completely off track with the comments he made over the weekend on a campaign trail where Duale urged the residents to vote Nathif out and pick Ali Korane in the forthcoming general elections.
