This ruling is typical of the issues social media users face today. How far can people go in disliking or criticising a post or person.
All the time people are competing with people commenting and posting worldwide. People can be lured into a place where they find words that disgust, and may feel they must show one-up-manship i.e. to go one better - not to comment on the topic - but to impress others' commenting negartively or postively. In order to get more likes etc. losing track of the actual purpose or value of being allowed to comment.
The laws and precedents are not yet complete. A person may end up in prison in one country and yet receive a lenient punishment in another.
And the language used also varies from country to country according to culture. If I call someone ugly, what will they do? will there be nay harm? Well it depends on the person and their understanding and outlook regarding themselves. Some may self harm.
As we know black people laugh and joke over the term 'nigger'. But if someone of a different colour uses it, it may be seen as offensive.
AI cannot provide any answers or assistance in these matters, as this is a human endeavour.
