Описание: Day 5 in Greenland turned out to be one of the most intense and unforgettable days of my entire life.

This video is fully about our whale watching experience in Ilulissat.

We started early from Ilulissat and boarded a small speed boat with just 10 people, heading deep into the Disko Bay. Riding fast between icebergs and floating ice pieces itself felt thrilling. Somewhere along the journey, we were served hot black tea - a simple but perfect moment in the freezing Arctic wind.

Soon after, we spotted our first humpback whale, and it came incredibly close to the boat. I thought the tour might end there — but that was just the beginning.

As we went further into open waters, we spotted seals, followed by multiple groups of humpback whales. One group appeared to be training their young ones — diving, surfacing, and feeding patterns happening right in front of us.

What amazed me the most was the chaos of nature — wherever the whales surfaced, hundreds of birds surrounded them, screaming and circling nonstop. I wanted to fly the drone but decided not to risk it because of the birds.

Then came the moment I’ll never forget.

We suddenly found ourselves surrounded by whales —
some in front of the boat, some behind, some on the right, some very close on the left.
I honestly didn’t know where to look or what to film.

At one point, two whales surfaced right next to the boat with their mouths open, with a giant iceberg in the background. Goosebumps. Absolute silence. Pure magic.

In total, we spotted around 8–10 humpback whales, the highest number even the guide had seen in a single tour. Because of this rare sighting, the tour extended much longer than planned — and we were cutting it very close to our next activity of the day.
