I AM YOUR GOD - Lyrics:
I AM WHO I AM
THE LORD YOUR GOD
YOU ARE MY CHOICE
I CONSECRATED YOU
EVEN BEFORE YOU WERE BORN
BEHOLD IN YOU
I WILL DO NEW THINGS
LOVE ME. WITH ALL YOUR HEART
WITH ALL YOUR SOUL
WITH ALL YOUR STRENGTH
I WILL OPEN THE PATHS FOR YOU
YOU WILL CROSS DESERTS AND RIVERS
I WILL NOT FORGET YOU
BEHOLD YOUR NAME IS
IN THE PALMS OF MY HANDS
TURN YOUR HEART TO ME
LOVE ME. WITH ALL YOUR HEART
WITH ALL YOUR SOUL
WITH ALL YOUR STRENGTH
IN OUR ETERNAL COVENANT
BEHOLD IN YOU
NEW THINGS ARE BORN
DESERT BLOOMS. THE SEA OPENS
I AM WHO I AM
LOVE ME. WITH ALL YOUR HEART
WITH ALL YOUR SOUL
WITH ALL YOUR STRENGTH
YOU ARE MY CHOICE
I WILL DO NEW THINGS
TURN YOUR HEART TO ME
WITH ALL YOUR HEART
WITH ALL YOUR SOUL
WITH ALL YOUR STRENGTH

About the lyrics:
Divine Utterances in the Old Testament reveal the progression of God's plan: from creation to the election of Israel, from the giving of the Law to eschatological promises, paving the way for the New Covenant:
1. Creative Sovereignty (Genesis 1:3)
At the creation of the universe, God commands "Let there be light," demonstrating His power in forming all things by His word.
2. Human Mission (Genesis 1:28)
In blessing Adam and Eve, God declares: "Be fruitful [...] and subdue the earth," establishing human dominion over creation.
3. Election and Promise (Genesis 12:1–3)
Calling Abraham, He orders: "Go from your country [...] and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed," initiating the redemption plan through a chosen people.
4. Revelation of Identity (Exodus 3:14)
At the burning bush, God reveals His eternal name to Moses: "I AM WHO I AM," affirming His absolute existence and self-sufficiency.
5. Ethical Foundation (Exodus 20:1–17)
At Sinai, He delivers the Ten Commandments, including "You shall have no other gods" and "You shall not murder," as Israel’s moral cornerstone.
6. Cosmic Covenant (Genesis 9:11–17)
After the flood, He establishes an "everlasting covenant" with Noah, symbolized by the rainbow, promising never again to destroy the earth with water.
7. Call to Total Love (Deuteronomy 6:4–5)
In the Shema Israel, He exhorts: "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and strength," defining the essence of relationship with God.
8. Prophetic Commission (Isaiah 6:8–10)
Summoning Isaiah, He asks: "Whom shall I send?" and instructs him to confront Israel’s spiritual blindness.
9. Demand for Holiness (Leviticus 20:7–8)
He commands: "Consecrate yourselves, and be holy, for I am the Lord [...] who sanctifies you," linking divine holiness to human conduct.
10. Unshakeable Faithfulness (Isaiah 49:15–16)
Consoling exiled Israel: "I will not forget you. Behold, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands," comparing His care to a mother’s.
11. Call to Repentance (Joel 2:12–13)
He pleads: "Return to me with all your heart [...] rend your hearts," emphasizing mercy over ritualism.
12. Divine Predestination (Jeremiah 1:5)
Revealing to Jeremiah: "Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you [...] I appointed you a prophet," affirming His eternal purpose.
13. Promise of Renewal (Isaiah 43:19)
Announcing deliverance: "Behold, I am doing a new thing [...] I will make a way in the wilderness," pledging miraculous intervention in exile.
