Santa Clara County District Attorney Candidate Forum 2022 (Primary Election)

Описание: The LWV of Southwest Santa Clara Valley hosted a candidate forum for the candidates running for Santa Clara County District Attorney. The three candidates are Daniel Chung, Sajid Khan, and Jeff Rosen. This forum was moderated by Eleanor Yick.

This candidate forum was hosted for the primary election.

Correction: In the video, we stated that the top two candidates will advance to the November general election even if one of them has received a majority of the votes for that office. We need to clarify that this is true for partisan offices like California Assembly and Senate. Since the office of District Attorney is a nonpartisan office, if one candidate gets the majority of the votes (more than 50%), the candidate wins and there will be no general election for that office in November.
