I made this deeply resonant steel tank drum in my parents garage, with no experience and no previous music knowledge. The similar hang drum's tuning is celtic minor (d3,a4,c4,d4,e4,f4,g4,d5). I based my tuning on a handpan like that.
I think it turned out insanely good. And I am very happy with my result, even though Ive never played one of these drums its super fun to experiment. I think it is quite the intuitive instrument, and easy to learn. I just need to put more effort in.
