Veppalaikatti is a traditional brahmin recipe quite popular in Palakkad, Kerala and in many parts of Tamil Nadu. This is prepared using wild lemon leave and does not require any oil, hence more like spicy dry pickle goes well with curd rice. These spicy tangy pickle balls also has health benefits like reducing the body heat and improves digestion. This also can be mixed with a little bit of oil with Idli/Dosa. Must try recipe.
