COYOTE FLATS: Many AWDs DENIED ... by the Mountain

Описание: Back on June 28, 2024, we set out to drive up to a high elevation lake in the Eastern Sierras. I have a lot of experience on this trail, but it's been 4 years since I've been here. I wasn't sure about the condition of the trail, if it got easier or worse.

While airing down, an off-road capable Rivian R1T pulled up next to us. The guy asked if we thought his friend in a 4th gen Subaru Forester would be able to make it up the trail. I was honest with him, I told him that many have tried before and haven't been able to make it. It's not a technical trail, just a prolonged steep one.
