This video follows the route taken from Seathwaite to Cockly Pike Ridge and then follows the scramble up Cockly Pike Ridge and Ill Crag to its summit.
The route taken follows Grains Gill and Ruddy Gill (grade 1 scramble) to Esk Hause and from there we follow a small gill all the way down to Great Moss.
From Great Moss we pick up the scramble up Cockly Pike Ridge to its summit and then pick out a scrambling route between giant boulders to the summit of Ill Crag.
