Hiking Ulriken, Rundemanen, Floyen via Vidden Trail - Bergen, Norway

This is an embed video for the blog, not meant to entertain but you might find this entertaining. I try to not speed it up too much so that you can’t see the terrain, but it’s 6 hours I took out there photographing and going the wrong way multiple times, but it's so much time and ground to cover so forgive me for speed in some places- ping me if you want me to post a slower version of a portion of the vid- cite the time of vid. If you want to complain, then why don’t YOU book a ticket and go yourself, how about that? lol Vidden Trail is a challenging hike, or it was that day when all that snow had melted and I underestimated how dry the ground should have been by then- I was sinking the knee in a few places. I went from Mount Ulriken to Mount Fløyen, well technically Mount Rundemanen because that’s the radio tower and tallest point in that area before returning to Bergen.
Amazing trek you have to go check out, but you have to get there first, so I opted to explore the public transportation to try to do it as a local would. Caught the number 2 train 4 stops to the hospital, walked up the hill and get busy! I couldn't convince fellow travelers to brave it with me, but I'm sure I can convince YOU to do this one day. I was pretty much out there myself, the whole way, and I saw less than maybe 10 people total, going in either direction- you’ll see when you watch it in full. It was too windy, so I had to remove the original sound, it was horrible!
Thanks to the best app possible PhotoPills, I was able to time the sunset accurately, so I recommend y’all go get this app, if you wish to try the same and find a good time to catch the sunset in scenes you want to capture- otherwise just hike it, it’s beautiful when the weather permits. Because 360 degree cams don't have ND filters, you'll need to go to the blog entry to see some of that stuff or join my social media page to see some finished products.
