50s Sock Hop – August 16, 2025 – 4PM to 7PM - BAKER COMMUNITY CENTER, ST CHARLES, IL

Описание: The St. Charles History Museum, in association with N2 Solutions, is excited to bring St. Charles a real 1950s Sock Hop! Dust off those poodle skirts and get the Brylcreem out – we’re going dancing.
Designed for the whole family, the Baker Community Center will be decked out like a school gym for this dance party. There will be food, and drinks available for purchase. Lots of other fun, too, like hula hoop lessons, dancing, and even a real DJ spinning your favorite sock hop hits!

The "Vintage Vibe" event offers attendees an unforgettable journey through time, with live music filling the air, reminiscent of the alluring melodies that once graced the halls of the hotel during the roaring '20s. The rhythm and tunes will set the perfect ambiance for an evening of mingling, laughter, and delight.

Tickets for the Sock Hop are priced at $15 each. $5 for students, Children 3 and under get in free with a paid adult admission. Food, drinks, and candy are available for purchase at the event. This event is anticipated to be in high demand, so we encourage early booking to secure a spot at this extraordinary celebration of history and culture.
