Quarter inch nut driver


Step-by-step how-to instructions for replacing the Thermistor (part number 240597203) in a Refrigerator.

1. Disconnect your power source.
2. Open your refrigerator door and remove all the shelves in it.
3. Using your quarter inch nut driver, remove the screw holding in the little piece of plastic on the refrigerators back wall.
4. Pull the piece of plastic right out but be gentle because there are plastic clips holding it in.
5. Locate your thermistor and unclip it.
6. Take your new OEM replacement thermistor and plug that back in and place back the plastic cover then screw back in the screw you took out previously.
7. Place back the shelving and close your refrigerator door.
8. Turn your refrigerator back on and your repair is complete.
