my boosted mini s got its ESC burned with only couple miles, but i was able to replace with a flipsky vesc (or fesc for trademark issues). i've been riding for more than 1,5 years with this setup.
With all customizations that VESC can offer, my mini S achieve the top speed of 35 km/h against the stock boosted mini s with max top speed of only 30 km/h.
