On Friday Israel launched a massive attack on Iran, taking out some of its top generals and damaging several nuclear installations. Since then, the two countries have been launching wave after wave of missiles at one another.

This represents a massive provocation by Israel, which threatens to spark off a regional war. It shows how far Netanyahu is willing to go to keep his wartime government in power. Donald Trump has replied in his typical erratic fashion, even going so far as threatening to kill Ayatollah Khamenei.

How did things get this far? What could happen next? And what can workers and youth in Canada to fight off the threat of another imperialist war?
