Описание: Brutus, a 9-week-old bald eagle was knocked out of the nest by a Barred Owl. This follows many other altercations, but this one was the most consequential. Brutus is doing well in rehab at the Audubon Center for Birds of Prey. They only have minor injuries, should make a full recovery, and be released back out into the wild. Future updates will come from them.

The mother eagle of this nest, known as "Mom," lost sight in her right eye following a series of fierce owl attacks in the past.
Despite this, she is incredibly brave, never letting her disability hold her back. Alongside her partner, "Dad," she continues to fiercely protect their new lives throughout the 2026 season.
Raising eaglets with only one eye is an immense challenge, but watching her feed her young and stay vigilant against predators is truly inspiring.
