So, if you haven't already seen the video earlier this week, Ron DeSantis, Republican governor of Florida was caught on video, essentially berating kids on stage for wearing face coverings, told him, take it off. This is ridiculous. The COVID theater, he called it. He said, of course we wanna leave it on, leave it on. But it's ridiculous watching that clip, which I've discussed actually several times this week over on the ring of fire channel. So I'm not rehashing the clip here, but I am gonna take a little bit of a deeper dive because there's something else in that clip that everybody missed something that I had actually brought up in an interview. I did on Jen Pearlman's podcast a couple months ago. And that is that Ron DeSantis doesn't have the temperament to properly run for president. And that is what was on full display in that video.

Now I know everybody's already thinking Beren are you saying Trump did? No, I'm not. But Trump had something that Ron DeSantis doesn't, he did have charisma and of course he had decades worth of name recognition and celebrity status. Ron DeSantis doesn't have that. What we saw on that stage, in that video was Ron DeSantis, losing it on children for doing something that didn't affect Ron himself. He couldn't contain it. And, and as I've pointed out, I know some people said, oh, there's totally staged. Even if it was, it shows that he can't handle these kinds of things, that he can lose his temper very easily and get flustered and annoyed and come across as either a bully or gross. The unprepared. Now, what I had said months ago on the Pearlman podcast, like I said, is that Ron DeSantis didn't have the temperament that he is a bit like, I guess you would say people like Marco Rubio, Marco Rubio was actually considered a front runner in the 2015 Republican race until of course they got to the debates.

That's when everything fell apart. When his fellow Republicans specifically, Chris Christie started hammering him on his policies and on his stances, Rubio fell apart on that stage. Like absolutely torpedoed his own campaign because the man couldn't keep it together because he didn't have the temperament. He didn't have the intelligence to think quickly outside the box. Now plenty of other candidates have suffered that same fate, both on the Republican and the democratic side. So I asked you this picture, that man from the video, Ron DeSantis, picture him up on a debate stage with 10 other hungry Republicans who wanna be the next president of the United States. What's he gonna do? He's not gonna emerge as the Trump-like figure, right? Nobody can repeat that success as much as I hate to say it. Trump truly had lightning in a bottle with the way he handled those other Republican candidates up on those debate stages. And if you haven't seen those debates, then I'm sorry. If you feel were kinda lost here, but Donald Trump would sit there when somebody else accused him of something, he would just say, Nope, wrong didn't happen wrong. You're a liar. You're a loser.

Ron DeSantis can't do that. Ron DeSantis will get destroyed in a Republican primary because he will get destroyed. Republican debates. DeSantis only works when he doesn't have opposition. When you confront him, when you call him out to his face, when you do anything that goes against what he says, like wearing a mask on stage, the man can't keep it together. That is what I took away from that video. And it's something that is a very close watcher of DeSantis for the last four years. Something that I've noticed repeatedly and talked about months before that video even emerged. Mark. My words DeSantis won't make it because his temperament won't allow him to.
