For your review: Going outside the five-finger position in C major, means in your right hand moving up your pinky from G to A and lowering your thumb from C to B. In your left hand it will be moving your thumb up from G to A and lowering your pinky from C to B. Going outside the five-finger position in F major, means in your right hand moving up your pinky from C to D and lowering your thumb from F to E. In your left hand it will be moving your thumb up from C to D and lowering your pinky from F to E.
Going outside the five-finger position in G major, means in your right hand moving up your pinky from D to E and lowering your thumb from G to F#. In your left hand it will be moving your thumb up from D to E and lowering
your pinky from G to F#.
Notes in the C major scale are C - D - E - F - G - A - B - C. Finger numbers in the right hand are 1 - 2 - 3 - 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5 and in the left hand
5 - 4 - 3 - 2 - 1 - 3 - 2 - 1. Notes in the F major scale are
F - G - A - Bb - C - D - E - F. Finger numbers in the right hand are
1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 and in the left hand 5 - 4 - 3 - 2 - 1 - 3 - 2 - 1. Notes in the G major scale are G - A - B - C - D - E - F# - G. Finger numbers in the right hand are 1 - 2 - 3 - 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5 and in the left hand 5 - 4 - 3 - 2 - 1 - 3 - 2 - 1.
