MARK-10 SERIES 5 FEATURES:
The Series 5 is an essential component of a force testing system, typically also comprising a test stand, grips, and data collection software. Mark-10 M5 are advanced digital force gauges designed for tension and compression force testing in numerous applications across virtually every industry from 0.12 lb to 1,000 lb (0.5 N to 5,000 N) full scale. Mark-10 force gauges are ruggedly built for many years of service in laboratory and industrial environments.

The gauges feature an industry-leading sampling rate of 7,000 Hz, producing accurate results even for quick-action tests. Accuracy is ±0.1% of full scale, and resolution is 1/5000. Series 5 force gauges are directly compatible with Mark-10 test stands, grips, and software. In order to accommodate a variety of testing requirements, the orientation of the loading shaft may be set either up or down.

The Mark-10 M5 series operates in normal mode, Peak Compression and Peak tension / Static Coefficient of Friction and allows you choose set points. The set points are useful for tolerance checking (pass/fail), triggering an external device such as a motorized test stand, or alarm indication in process control applications. Two limits, high and low, are specified and stored in the non-volatile memory of the instrument and the primary reading is compared to these limits. The results of the comparisons are indicated through the three outputs provided on the 15-pin connector, thus providing “under”, “in range”, and “over” signaling. This advanced model has also Average Mode / Kinetic Coefficient of Friction (AVG) function. Average mode is used to obtain an average force reading over a specified period of time.

A large, backlit graphics LCD displays large, legible characters, while the simple menu navigation allows for quick access to the gauges’ many features and configurable parameters.

This advanced force gage can save data during the measurements for up to 1,000 readings and provides advanced push and pull force measurement functions such statistical calculations and output to a PC.

The gauges are overload protected to 200% of capacity, and an analog load bar is shown on the display for graphical representation of applied force.

The gauges include MESUR™ Lite data acquisition software. MESUR™ Lite tabulates continuous or single point data. One-click export to Excel allows for further data manipulation.
