The U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit hosted a combined Change of Command and Change of Responsibility Ceremony at the USAMU Headquarters on Fort Benning, Georgia on April 1, 2020.
Due to the current COVID-19 precautions, the ceremony did not include Soldiers from the unit. Therefore, the ceremony was recorded for the entire USAMU family to witness.
The outgoing command team is Lt. Col. H.T. Lawrence and Command Sgt. Maj. Jason Levy. The incoming command team is Lt. Col. Erik Andreasen and Command Sgt. Maj. Aaron Forry.
The Fort Benning Garrison Commander, Col. Matthew Scalia, and the Maneuver Center of Excellence Command Sergeant Major, Command Sgt. Maj. Martin Celestine, attended the scaled-down ceremony and spoke.
