Описание: Thousands of Iranians flooded the streets of Bandar Abbas Tuesday for the funeral of IRGC naval commander Alireza Tangsiri, killed in an Israeli airstrike — with mourners carrying his coffin on their shoulders through crowds waving Iranian flags and his portraits.
Israel's Defence Minister Israel Katz claimed Tangsiri was directly responsible for mining and blocking the Strait of Hormuz, one of the world's most critical oil chokepoints. Iran confirmed he died after sustaining severe injuries from the strike.
Now into its fifth week, the war has claimed over 1,900 Iranian lives according to Tehran, while the U.S. has confirmed at least 13 military personnel killed and Israel has acknowledged around two dozen fatalities on its side.
