And now for the moment you've all been waiting for: our wedding video!

Fate brought us together, trust and strength enabled us to survive long distance, and with love, laughter, and dedication came our greatest adventure yet: marriage, and we're so happy to be able to share a little insight into our traditional Japanese wedding ceremony with you!

Neither of us had ever dreamt of the perfect wedding. Our wedding day was largely spent in a city hall somewhere in Tokyo signing papers, there was to be no princess dress and tux nor fairytale castle. And that was just fine by us! As an international couple it was impossible for our families to come together and celebrate our big day with us and so that’s what our wedding day was - our day, and our day alone. Factor into that the fact that we are both painfully awkward and weird when it comes to being the centers of attention, and our ceremony very nearly didn’t even happen at all. But we couldn't be more thankful for how our intimate Shinto shrine wedding ceremony turned out.
