PM Modi highlights Gaza, regional stability in meeting with Jordan’s King Abdullah II

Описание: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday met Jordan's King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein at the Husseiniya Palace in Amman for delegation-level talks.

During the meeting, the two leaders reviewed bilateral relations and discussed regional and global issues, with a focus on peace and countering terrorism.

PM Modi, who arrived in Jordan on a two-day visit at the invitation of Abdullah II, was warmly welcomed by the king at the Husseiniya Palace, where they held a one-on-one meeting before the delegation-level talks.

The two sides agreed to further deepen their partnership, especially in the fields of trade and investment, defence and security, counter-terrorism and de-radicalisation, fertiliser and agriculture, renewable energy, and tourism. Both leaders reaffirmed their united stand against terrorism.

Jordan is the first leg of Modi's four-day, three-nation tour, which will also take him to Ethiopia and Oman.
