disclaimer: this review is based off of one person's barely-paid-attention-to listening-to of the wolfsong audiobook which was narrated by someone who made said 'one person' want to die inside, so any information within this review is highly likely to be wrong and/or mistaken and should not be taken as gospel and should, wherever possible, be completely ignored and disregarded at all times just like people seem to have completely ignored and disregarded the disturbing age gap between ox and joe. anything i got wrong about the plot won't take away the fact that the age gap and the sex in this book just made me wanna shoot myself in the foot, but you should still take everything i say about the plot with a grain of salt. I can deal with bad plots and boring villains, but the age gap was uncomfortable and i felt no chemistry between the main characters--LIKE SERIOUSLY, NONE. the most I enjoyed the book was when Joe had ditched everyone because, AT LEAST, then I didn't have to worry about them having underage sex and making me feel even more icky about their already chemistry-less relationship--always read the label.
