The D Rose 6 is official, a chance to win a free pair of Yeezy 350 Boost, and a $320 pair of retros. I am your host Jacques Slade and this is Today in Sneaks.

Looking to combat the leaks of the D Rose 6, adidas Hoops officially announced the D Rose 6 today. Introduced in both a home and away colorway, the D Rose 6 sports a redesigned upper and a larger focus on the shoes performance. The D Rose 6 comes equipped with forefoot and heel Boost cushioning, a FITFRAME heel cage and straps for an adaptive fit, A herringbone traction pattern as well as premium materials for a luxury finish and some detailed call-outs to Chicago. Look for the D Rose 6 to arrive on October 15 in the “Home” and November 5 in “Road” colorways for $140 with 5 additional colors dropping by the end of the year.

The cost of retros seems to go up every year, but this retro is probably not the one you are thinking about. New Balance is giving us a look at the past with a retro of the Horween leather 1400. Now I am no expert on the New Balance 1400, but I do know that new balance fans really love this shoe. Add that to the fact that they linked with horween leather for the upper and you can see why the price is $320. For fans of a really dope made in the USA sneaker, you can grab these now over at Sneaker Politics.

For those that were not able to get their hands on the Yeezy Boost this past weekend, don’t give up hope just yet as there are actually two chances to win a pair. You should already know about shop.yeezysupply.com, but you may also be able to win a pair from Alife. According to the internets, the streetwear label is giving away all of their pairs and all you have to do is tag @adidas, @alifenewyork, and #alifetaughtme. There has been no word on when or how the winner will be announced.
