We have developed a high-performance platform to determine the sex in Papaya to low-cost (Platform High Thoroughput ) .
We determine the sex of the papaya by DNA markers, allowing direct transplantation of hermaphrodite plants (saving direct and indirect costs and increasing the performance of the plant) .
With our platform Traditional Sexing is removed: 4 plants per hole to get 1 hermaphrodite plant ( with the disadvantage that you have to wait for flowering to know the sex of papaya, thus increasing costs and lowering the performance of the plant ) .
With our Genotyping Sexing : 1 hermaphrodite plant per hole ( because we can know the sex of papaya with the first true leaf ).
