Описание: Welcome to PAB LIVE, a 24/7 harbour camera overlooking Channel–Port aux Basques, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada — home to the Marine Atlantic ferry, powerful North Atlantic storms, and one of the most watched views in town, long known locally as the Tilley Cam.

This livestream honours the memory of Mr. Tilley — affectionately remembered as “The Catalogue Man” — who spent countless hours in his rocking chair watching this very harbour through binoculars. From ferry arrivals and departures to storms rolling in from the Gulf, Mr. Tilley carefully tracked wind speeds, weather patterns, and daily life on the waterfront in his journals.

In tribute to Mr. Tilley and the generations before him, we’re sharing this view with the world.

Whether you’re a local checking the weather, a former resident missing home, a traveller watching for the ferry, or someone discovering Port aux Basques for the first time, PAB LIVE offers a real-time window into a place shaped by resilience, history, and community.

🏠 About the Camera & Location

This camera is mounted on a historic home built in 1897, originally the Customs House of Port aux Basques, established alongside the completion of the Reid Railway in 1898.
The home was occupied by the Pike family, followed by the Anderson family, and later the Tilley family. Today, we are restoring the house to its original character while preserving and sharing its story.

This stream is dedicated to Mr. Tilley and the legacy of watching, recording, and caring about this harbour.
