Strawberry Smell begins with the unexpected encounter of Aslı and Burak—two people who are complete opposites in character, lifestyle, and motivations. Aslı is fired from the bakery where she works because of Burak. Meanwhile, her best friend Gonca is about to leave for a job in Bodrum and tries to convince Aslı to come with her. Aslı doesn’t want to miss the opportunity to both have a vacation and earn some money, so she agrees to go. Although her mother isn’t thrilled about Aslı going to Bodrum, she eventually gives in to her daughter’s insistence.

At the same time, Burak’s father, fed up with Burak’s irresponsible behavior, decides to send him to work at the new hotel they just acquired.

Our story begins as arrogant, cocky, rebellious Burak and cheerful, warm, sincere Aslı end up on the same flight to Bodrum and are forced to sit next to each other due to a series of sweet mishaps. From the moment they first meet, they clash and bicker constantly, thinking they will never see each other again after the flight. But fate has already begun to weave its web to bring them together once more.
