PolicyEngine UK January 2025 Training

Описание: Join Max Ghenis (CEO & Co-founder) and Vahid Ahmadi (Research Associate) from PolicyEngine for our January 2025 training session covering exciting new developments in our free, open-source policy simulation platform.

This session explores two major updates:

Behavioral Responses - A deep dive into how our platform now models individual responses to policy changes, including labor supply effects and capital gains realizations. Learn about the elasticity parameters we use and how they compare to established estimates from institutions like the US Congressional Budget Office.
Childcare Subsidies - An overview of our work incorporating the UK's complex childcare support programs into our model, enhancing our ability to analyze policy impacts on families.

We also preview our upcoming local area analysis feature, which will enable policy impact assessment at parliamentary constituency and local authority levels.
