Exploring an Abandoned School in an INTERESTING WA Beach Town

*the 2020 census says there are 49 residents (not a mistake we made) ether a few locals don't know where the boarders are and think there is 400 residents and tried to correct us, or the census is wrong.

*any other mistakes are mistakes found on the internet from good sources that may have allegedly published a mistake or two. Yes, we did our research. No, we did not go to the museum. We are sorry to have hurt any of the locals feelings. We love your little town, and love that it has so much rad abandoned stuff!

We travel to Moclips, Washington beach town on a rainy day in June. We give a quick, soso history lesson on the town and explore the inside of an abandoned high school. This town was a tourist destination in the early 1900s after a massive wooden hotel was constructed. That hotel tragically caught fire months after opening, then was rebuilt bigger and better only to be washed away by a tidal surge during a massive storm in 1911. The high school was built in the 1950's only to be closed down and abandoned in 1990. 32 years later we explore it for your viewing pleasure!
