The Jabel Akhdar- The Green Mountain is part of Al Hajar Mountains range in Ad Dakhiliyah Governorate of Oman. It rises to a height of 2,980 m (9,780 ft) Jabel Akhdar is famous for its labyrinth of wadis and terraced orchards, where pomegranates, apricots and roses grow in abundance due to its mild
Mediterranean climate. Jabel Akhdar lies at the central section of Al Hajar range, located around 150 km (93 mi) from Muscat and accessible only by four-wheel drive. Jebel Akhdar a nature reserve in a bid to conserve its unique yet fragile biodiversity. A decree issued by Sultan Qaboos established the 'Jebel Akhdar Sanctuary for Natural Sceneries.'
The mountain has featured as the principal climb in the Tour of Oman road bicycle race.
The Nizwa Fort is a large castle in Nizwa, Oman.
It was built in the 1650s by the second Ya’rubi -ts underlying structure goes back to the 12th century.It is Oman's most visited national monument. The fort was the administrative seat of authority for the presiding Imams and Walis in times of peace and conflict.

Bahla Fort (Arabic: قلعة بهلاء‎; ) is one of four historic fortresses situated at the foot of the Jebel Akhdar highlands in Oman and the country's only UNESCO-listed fort added in 1987 - The fort is believed to have been built between the 12th and 15th century by the Banu Nebhan tribe who inhabited the area at the time and were known for controlling the trade of frankincense at the time.

As part of the complex, there is also a citadel oasis adjacent to the fort and an ancient wall spanning 13 kilometres part of which are still standing. The majority of the oasis is in ruins but the structure and some of the houses still stand.

As the fort was built with bricks made of mud and straw, erosion damaged the structure until rehabilitation efforts were launched. There are a lot of legends surrounding the castle

Wadi Damm is known to be one of the most beautiful Wadis of Oman. This well visited Wadi is an icon situated between the oasis and date plantations in Al Ayn area about, 1 hour drive from Ibri.
