My bearings of the crankshaft are turned to size to ensure a stress-free installation of the crankshaft bearing. That's why I hadn't to hammer the oil seals flat. If you use non turned / mill-cut bearings you have to flatten the oil seals!

The oil seals have a circumferential bead on the outside (which shows to the bearings that sit in their engine seatings. If u don’t Hammer this circumferential bead in the oil seals flat the oil seals won’t fit with your bearings and your crankshaft.
So u have two solutions:

1. U can Hammer the crimp of your oil seals flat.

2. U use this set by scooter center:

If u look close on the pictures u can notice that the bearings are mill cut by the manufacturer. So u can simply install them without hammering anything. Plus: Scooter Center has an English description :)

VORSICHT, bitte beachten!
Die Kurbelwellenlager in diesem Video sind abgedreht. Daher musste ich die Simmerringe nicht platt klopfen. Bei nicht gefrästen Lagern müssen die Sicken der Simmerringe geplättet werden!

Auch ich bin nur Laie und habe in meinem Leben erst einen Wideframe-Motor neu aufgebaut.
