It's almost (the end of) Summer! I'm timely as ever. This mix takes the final album mix of Almost Summer (supplied by @seashorearchive , the ever diligent curator of semi-obscure Beach Boys related crap) and flies in some elements from alternate sources.
Brian's vocal on the first verse is taken from a candid tape of a playback session with the song in a very early state (with a different Mike lead and, obviously, Brian on one verse). In addition, I took Brian's chorus lead and Smilin' Eddie Carter's lead guitar from the "demo" to add a few extra surprises.
Brian's verse is especially low-fidelity (in the proper use of the word, grumble grumble) because of the nature of how it circulates, so excuse the sound on that.
