New research challenges the assumption that smoking marijuana is safer than smoking cigarettes. As a medical cannabis expert, I’ve long been interested in this. Part of the argument why cigarettes are worse is because of the frequency of inhaling most cigarette smokers do throughout a day/week, with many users smoking a pack or more a day. On average, cannabis smokers do not inhale nearly as often. The idea that pot is safer to smoke may be a false argument! And vaping may be safer for both. Let's talk about it!
