Blending mystery with brilliance, the Chicago-based Bass-duo MLOTIK is redefining norms in music production through innovative soundscapes and a dark, foreboding ethos.

Michal and Mariusz launched their career with local promotion company Trinium. Michal's experience with drums and Mariusz's computer engineering skills led them into music production in 2015. Quickly mastering the craft, they drew inspiration from artists like Liquid Stranger to evolve their sound into modern, experimental Bass.

MLOTIK's signature style, marked by dark imagery and releases on Ganja White Night's SubCarbon Records and Mersiv’s MorFlo Records, has resonated within the music community. Their 2018 debut, the Incursion EP, and hits like “Identical Tentacle” led to collaborations with Wavecraft Collective and Spicy Bois.

Their nationwide performances have included playing alongside Mersiv at The Caverns and festivals like Interstellar and North Coast Music Festival. A highlight came in 2019 with the inaugural WAKAAN Festival in Mulberry Mountain, AK.

Focused on unique and organic production, MLOTIK places their music at the forefront, poised to epitomize freeform Bass music. Their commitment to exploring endless sonic possibilities ensures their continuous influence and resonance within the music industry.
