Langstone Harbour and Hayling Island - Super8 - Kodak Vision3 50D

Описание: A walk that followed the Hayling Billy railway line from Havant Station to the seafront on Hayling Island on a very blustery day in October 2021. This film starts at Langstone Harbour. Despite having a monopod, the wind made it very tricky to hold the camera steady and straight. My excuse for the wonky horizons, anyway.

Shot with a Braun Nizo 561 Macro at 18fps, on Kodak Vision3 50D Super 8 film. This is pretty much the whole cartridge aside from a couple of small edits.

The film was processed at home in a Lomo tank using a Bellini ECN-2 kit. Over the bath. While unspooling the film onto a drier, part of it fell onto the floor, hence some more dirt on the emulsion than should be necessary. :( Otherwise it seemed to come out OK. Video from the Raspberry Pi based scanner was output at 1440 pixels high.

I also had a cartridge of Boots MovieChrome 40 that expired in 1983 with me, that I exposed after this one on the beach at Hayling. Developed in the same chemistry directly after this one. That was interesting... Here are the grisly results:    • Reticulation Beach - 1983 Moviechrome Supe...
