Описание: The 3 Brothers Competition was started in September 1978 at the Kenmare Golf Club located in the Town of Kenmare, County Kerry, on the southwest part of Ireland. It was started by a native of Kenmare, the late Frank O Connor, who emigrated to the United States and became a successful lawyer. He saw this event as a way to bring family, particularly brothers, back together once a year to enjoy golf and fellowship. The competition is played over 2 days as a stableford scoring event where the players go out in 3 balls with members of other teams and the best two scoring brothers on each hole are counted. It began with 15 teams in 1978, grew to 40 teams in 1985 and currently enjoys 60 teams competing annually every September with a healthy waiting list. After 42 years bringing brothers together in Ireland, Kenmare Golf Club has given us permission to launch a new competition in May 2020.
