Slightly nostalgic Americana song written 2010 in Flagstaff, Arizona.
I had attended a scientific conference in Tempe, after which I visited the Mexican border, Sedona, the Grand Canyon, and the Painted Desert.
Travelling through this magnificent landscape was inspiring and resulted in the first two songs I wrote as Doc Dooley, my musical alter ego since about that time.
Played with my 1970 Klira 12-string dreadnought, enriched with some bass, lapsteel and harp playing, as well as an electric guitar solo played with my heavily modified Paul-Reed-Smith S2.
