Kelvin Heights is a residential area, 5 minutes drive from Frankton and 20 minutes from the centre of Queenstown. With a world-class golf course, wonderful views of Lake Wakatipu and a greater share of the sunshine than many other areas in Queenstown, it’s also a popular spot for holiday homes. The Kelvin Peninsula Trail is a 90 minute trail that winds around Lake Wakatipu and provides you with beautiful views of the Remarkables, Queenstown, the Skyline Gondola and Queenstown Hill. During the walk, you’ll pass by the yacht club and the iconic Kelvin Heights Golf Course.
